Writing Weekend Part 2

We are not certain how many retreat weekends we have taken, and we are not sure how many are in our future with some serious life changes happening to a couple of us; but we have grown by them and treasured them. And we have been super productive each time.

Writing Weekend

It is another retreat weekend again.YAY! We returned to Rend Lake Resort again. Apparently we like it here.

I’m writing this as I sit at the wooden table in our room. The table is moved close to the door because the light in this part of the room is the only decent light we have. However, the other two are snoozing so that light is off. But I have the bathroom door open and the light from there along with the computer light is sufficient.

Oh, That Infamous Green Dress

Once in a blue moon (note to self: what the heck does “blue moon” mean?? I better look that up first chance I get) I find a piece of clothing so perfect that I wear it forever.

Right now, hanging in my closet, is a red cardigan sweater I got from my husband for Christmas 27 years ago. It is so comfortable, and cozy and nice to wear that it will be cherished until the last thread unravels and it is no longer a recognizable shape. You probably have something like that in your closet, too.
